Fred Agustin is the President and Treasurer of the Asian American Action Fund of Greater Chicago.  He is a licensed attorney in the State of Illinois, focusing his practice on land use and zoning matters and has done work in all 50 Aldermanic Wards within the City of Chicago, as well as other surrounding suburban municipalities.  Fred is currently an Analyst with the Cook County Board of Review specializing in residential and commercial real estate tax assessment appeals.  He has been actively involved in politics since college and spent two summers in Washington D.C. as an intern for the late Senator Paul Simon, and federal agency Overseas Private Investment Corporation (“OPIC”).  Fred was also a volunteer for Senator Dick Durbin’s first senatorial campaign.  Locally, he became involved politically when working for James J. Banks at the law firm known as Law Offices of Samuel V. P. Banks.  Fred received his Bachelor of Arts from Marquette University and Juris Doctorate from Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis.
