David Namkung is a board member of the Asian American Action Fund of Greater Chicago.  He is the founder and managing partner at Clarity Partners, LLC.  David has 16 years of experience serving a broad range of clients that include Fortune 500 companies, public sector organizations, and first stage start-ups.  He has worked in the public sector with the State of Illinois Governor’s Office of Management and Budget, City of Chicago, Chicago Public Library, Chicago Department of Transportation, Metra, Metropolitan Water Reclamation District, and DuPage County.  David has also worked in the financial services industry serving giants Fidelity Investments, John Hancock, Merrill Lynch, Brown Brothers Harriman, and Allmerica Financial.  Additionally, he has also consulted two of the largest global professional services firms; Accenture and Deloitte & Touche.  David has assisted numerous start-up companies in developing their technology plans; in recognition of his management and technology expertise, three of these companies invited him to serve on their boards of directors.  David graduated with honors from Carnegie Mellon University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management with a double major in Economics.  He is a member of the Board of Directors for Hanul Family Alliance, where he serves as the President, and The Council of Korean Americans.  David is a current resident of Chicago’s Loop neighborhood.
